Specifications great camera, but bad from Shannon I received my Sony HDR-CX130 today and was shocked to discover that no microphone input of any kind! I warned Sony and thanked me for bringing this error to their attention on the technical characteristics listed (and quickly tied me to a page that it said it was not their fault if mistakes are made for their advertising that .. link does not work either, btw Bwahit). So, no, no mini-jack 3.5 or any microphone / audio whatsoever. In addition, each autofocus is extremely slow, and the "manual" controls are almost impossible to adjust the design. I practice for hours and still has not received the blow with one of control "manual". It is basically, "everything in the car and hope for the best" which is not too convenient for any point-and-shoot. On the other hand, to "focus on the screen in that area" seems to work pretty well 50% of the time, and I'm pretty sure it will so I will focus, however, touch screen responds well (even with my big fingers) and the menus are fairly easy to achieve (although it always leaves when you make a choice instead of taking you back to the menu) touch screen is an important step forward in the control group compared with those terrible small "joystick" on the previous consumer video cameras that my old Canon. Optical stabilization is AMAZING! And Tele-macro function is excellent, if everything is still extremely! So those are the main advantages / disadvantages so far. I have not really found anything today, so I do not know how the picture quality, but it looks great. I thought I would warn all potential buyers of the NO-MIC-entry (that was one of the three aspects absolutely necessary that I needed, which basically means that I wasted my money on this camcorder in particular) and also warn almost impossible "manual control" and the snail slow auto focus 23 of 23 customers found this review helpful. Description of the error produced by Mr. Lisowski "The HDR-CX130 has an LED light that can help with low light situations, giving you more flexibility when shooting video." So the last item says "Description of the product." This is one of the most important features I was looking for. I bought the CX130, and that there is no LED light! 13 of 14 people found this review helpful. Good price, good camera for professionals Amazon price = 1) good and 2) is pretty good pictures in high definition. 3) Memory Sticks are pretty handy and easy to manage than eight Hi-bands like my old Sony camcorder in standard definition used. Pros = 1) As others have said .. The LCD screen is quite hard to see when it's sunny outside. Recently tried to capture the USAF Thunderbirds in flight and found it a real challenge. The camera really been much better if it through the lens of the viewer, in addition to the LCD. 2) In addition, the autofocus a little slow. The camera allows manual focusing, but the function is in the menus and a button instead of turning the lens. Not very practical for most situations. All in all, if not a good camera for the money you are willing to shell out some big money! See all 19 reviews ....
