Great camera, but wrong technical specifications by Shannon today I got my Sony HDR-CX130 and was shocked to discover that the microphone is not ANY! Sony warned and they thanked me for bringing this error to your attention in their technical specifications (and promptly called me to a page that supposedly says not to blame when mistakes are made in their advertising .. that link does not work, bwaha VAT). So, no, NO or 3.5 mini-jack mic input / audio whatsoever. In addition, all types of autofocus is very slow, and "manual" controls are almost impossible to fit the design. I practiced for hours and still not get the hang of using one of the "manual" controls. It is basically 'set it to automatic and hope for the better "is not very useful for a point-and-shoot. On the positive side, "pointing to the screen to focus on that area," seems to work pretty well 50% of the time, and I'm pretty sure that it is so we will focus, however, the touchscreen does not respond correctly (even with my big fingers) and the menus are pretty easy to get (although it always stops as soon as you make a choice instead of taking you back to the menu) touch screen is a major step forward in the control group compared to that horrible little "joystick" in consumer camcorders before my old Canon. Optical image stabilization is amazing! And Tele-macro function is good, everything is very quiet! So those are the main advantages / disadvantages so far. Still have not signed anything today, so do not know how the quality of the image remains, but it looks good. I thought I would warn all potential buyers of the NO-MIC-voice (which was one of three things absolutely necessary-I needed, which means I basically wasted my money on this camera in particular) and also warn almost impossible to "manual control" and the snail-slow autofocus 23 of 23 people found this review helpful. Description of the error made by Mr. Lisowski "The HDR-CX130 is a LED light that can help in low light situations, giving greater flexibility when capturing video." So says the last entry in the "Description of the product." This is one of the main features I was looking for. I just bought the CX130, and there is no LED light! 13 of 14 people found this review helpful. Good price, good pro camera for the price Amazon = 1) Good and 2) is pretty good pictures in high definition. 3) memory sticks are quite handy and easy to handle eight-Hi Band as my old Sony camcorder in standard definition used. Cons = 1) As others have said .. The LCD screen is a little hard to see in sunny conditions outdoors. He recently tried to capture the USAF Thunderbirds in flight and found it to be quite a challenge. The camera really would have been much better if it were passing through the lens of the viewfinder over the LCD. 2) In addition, the autofocus a bit "slow. The camera does not allow manual focus, but the function is the list of menus and buttons, rather than a twist of the lens. Not very practical for most situations. All in all a good car for money if you are not willing to Shuckers some big bucks! See all 18 customer reviews ....
