I loved the convenience of the disk when it replaced an older unit, I had that small tape cartridges used. But the prices of HD-compatible devices, more than I am willing to pay was for a camcorder, so did the units that are only used memory sticks. I have Sony DSC-TX1 digital camera and was blown away by its visual quality, and it took even 720p movies, the incredible clarity, who was my 1 year old JVC camcorder.
