DVR Camera + Motion Detection Recording Cam Corder Videocamera Digital
Camera and DVR with Motion Detection Recording - there's more than meets the eye. You'll be sorry if you judge this book by its cover. This small pocket-size digital video recorder comes in a compact 15x61mm frame and weighs next to nothing, but you'll be amazed at all the power it has. Here are a few reasons why you might just fall in love with it: Video Recorder and Spy Camera: With 720 x 576 video recording at 30fps and a built in microphone, this item makes an excellent personal camcorder. Along with the light weight and waterproof wired-camera, you can take this with you anywhere and expect the same perfect performance. This mini digital video recorder will also be great as your next tool for covert surveillance as it is small enough to be easily hidden. It is connected by an extension cord which can stretch up to 2 meters for instant viewing of those hard to get into places. One Touch Recording: Sick of missing those Kodak moments because you couldn't get your camera out in time? With this video recorder's one touch video recording function, you'll have the world at your fingertips. Even when the unit is turned off, all you have to do is flip a switch to start recording instantly - no menus, no loading, and no start-up screen. Motion Detection Recording: We tested this function in the office and its the best we have ever seen. Want to see who's been in your room/office touching your stuff? Set the mini digital video recorder to motion detection mode and watch it act like a security camera with real world results. It will automatically record any motion and then turn off after a certain period of inactivity, meaning it only captures the videos you need.

The camera feels great ( i have large hands), is easy to use, and the menu system works well. Pictures in automatic (smart) mode are sharp, although in lower light conditions it will tend to lower the shutter speed before increasing iso. Be sure to update the latest firmware available from samsung website. Some settings in menu are only available for particular shooting conditions, for example if you want to put it in raw mode, then be sure to set the dial to Apature first. In a way this makes sense because raw is only available when not using the smart mode, such as apature priority, but it can be an intial stumbling block when first setting the camera up - once you understand this premise then the rest is very smooth sailing. I have not tried video yet, however from what i have read, like many cameras with video built in, the quality is excelent when camera movement is not needed, but falls apart for action shots in the artifacts introduced. Also there is no external microphone jack so sound quality will be sub-par. If video is important, then the panasonic G series would be a better choice, but better yet would be a dedicated video camera. The senseor is 50% large in size than the panasonic g-series with 20% additional pixels. What that means is that there is 30% more area of the on each pixel for bringing in light, and thus more headroom for improvement. I am sure over the months Samsung will tweak their alogrithms to take better advantage of this. On time is excelent, as well as processing time; of course raw is going to take a bit longer. Be sure to get yourself a good quality card for the camera. I can carry the camera with the 18 -55 kit lens and the 50-200 zoom (300mm film equivilant) in a zeikos bag with only a 9 inch main compartment -that is the reason for getting a camera like this. It is not a studio replacement, but not intendended to be - for everything else it is fun and far better than a point and shoot if you know how to use it. 21 of 26 people found the following review helpful. Great compact APS-C camera, but weak video By The Folded Space I did a wide range of test shots recently and was quite impressed, though I found the sensor to be quite noisy. For this reason, I see no advantage over the emerging Micro four-thirds format, which I can see having greater staying power than this camera with its mostly proprietary lenses. The included lens in this kit, however, is quite versatile. The real problem is if you want to rely on this camera for video as well. In ideal conditions, the video looks quite good. Taking advantage of the large sensor and selection of lenses should put you ahead of most consumer grade camcorders. There are very few controls, though. There are also audio sync problems and file clipping issues that are not addressed in the firmware update at this time. This has been a deal-breaker for me as I wanted to eliminate the camcorder. Were it not for this, I'd rate it 4 stars and would've kept the camera. 5 of 5 people found the following review helpful. Very pleased with the NX10 By Marius Piedallu Van Wyk Having been reading up on most cameras since the release of the Nikon D90 on dpreview.com I finally thought the NX10/NX11 was my perfect camera. And having it for a week now I'm pretty pleased with it. I've been following all the Nikon models D90 / D3000 / D3100 and the Canon Rebel line as well as all the Micro Four-Thirds cameras and the Sony NEX-3/5. I've read reviews and comments and looked at all the sample images. I've considered the availability (and reviews) of lenses, weight/size of camera, image quality and video. The NEX-5, Olympus PL2, Nikon D3100 and the Samsung NX10/NX11/NX100 were all on my short list. I finally settled on the NX10. The NX10 : The Pros: Great image quality, although not quite

Lawrence I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but this "camera" is awful (ie. sucks). The actual product looks and feels like something you get at Chuck E. Cheese for 100 tickets. The 12MP is a flat out lie. I've read other reviews of this camera -- after I bought it -- and can't technically explain why this is, but one look in the viewfinder and one picture later it's very clear. (Or maybe I should say not so clear). Thank goodness I didn't give this to my nine-year old. Amazon, I love you and did most of my Christmas shopping with you. Pull this product. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. This camera sucks... By Charles Shahar Poor construction. The screen is a joke. The pictures are pretty awful. If this is a 12 megapixel camera, I'll eat my hat. This is the perfect camera for a five year old who can't tell the difference between good and awful pictures. Anyone else should stay away! I only gave it a star because the flash works. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Don't buy!! Works temporarily. By Satina Smith This item was purchased as a christmas gift. At first it worked well but after one month, it suddenly stopped working. The LCD display only has a black screen and the red light power indicator flickers on for a brief moment before turning off. Needless to say, the camera does not work and it was a huge waste of money. See all 9 customer reviews...

Packaging could use a little improvement. Upon receipt, opened the box to find out that plastic dropper full of cleaning solution had leaked onto other contents of packaging. Set out to air dry contents and no lasting effects, but most definitely something that could be improved upon in the future. Would buy from again based upon my comments in the first sentence. I figured that at $12 each plus film developing, the disposables would quickly cost more. We used our other cameras in dry areas. The waterproof case worked great at keeping this camera dry in wet and submerged situations. The controls are able to be used with the waterproof case because it has buttons that push on the controls of the camera - innovative. The screen was not visable once under water. Snorkeling photos were just point and shoot guessing game. Very few photos came out clear. Camera controls are not real user friendly and it is very sensitive to movement - blurry action shots. Batteries were short-lived and the camera would not stay on due to low battery. I think that low batteries caused/added to the problems, but not sure. We will have to try again. 0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. poor By Aika I bought this camera so my husband could take a pics while he is diving , I thought it could be great to see your own underwater pics, but it wasnt what i expected for the price i paid compare regular $9.99 disposable cameras. it eats too much battery, i bought rechargeable ones even did hold too long only about 5 min. very poor quality, very disappointed. Easy to use, fulfills most camcorder needs By Joseph Russell I actually bought the Insignia NS-DV720P digital camcorder. It is essentially the same as this one with a slightly larger screen. I bought this on Black Friday since it was on sale at a local electronics store. I have to say it is about the easiest camcorder I've ever worked with. First I'll do the technical specs. Specs: 720P camcorder 5MP camera LED light for recording in low light conditions Supports SD cards up to 4GB and SDHC cards up to 32GB 128MB internal memory Can record in multiple formats (AVI or MOV) depending on preference Built in microphone and speaker Compatible with Windows XP, Vista and Mac OS 10.5 Dimensions: 4.3" H x 3.2" W x 1.1" L Weight: 0.4 lbs Screen size 3" Includes: Insignia 720P digital camcorder Wrist strap Carrying pouch Adapter/charger 3 foot USB cable 4 foot AV cable (for viewing straight to TV) Quick setup guide 1 Lithium ion rechargable battery (chargable via PC or standard outlet) CD with user guide, device driver software and video editing software Usage/Pros: After about five minutes total of reading the short manual and fiddling around with the camera I had all the controls and functions figured out. When mounted on a tripod the video is very smooth. If pointed at a bright light source it will take a second to adjust automatically. When testing it for a few minutes with a walking motion while trying to hold the camera steady the video was pretty smooth and looks great. Hooking everything up to the computer is easy and smooth to use with no troubles uploading videos to your PC or directly to Youtube. With a 4GB memory card you can get up to 1750 photos or 2:11:32 of video. I definitely suggest this camcorder (NS-DV720P) for all your holiday and event needs. Usage/Cons: Speaker is mounted on the side which works fine when close to the sound source (i.e. < 10 feet). When testing it for sound at a TV 25 feet away the audio was difficult to hear. Even with a human speaking at 25 feet away in a normal voice it can be heard, but is difficult. There is no mic outlet to plug in a microphone. The camcorder is just slightly too big enough to fit in a pants pocket, but would fit in a purse fine. Unsure: I don't know charge times or total usage time per charge. Not sure about editing but it does allow quick Youtube uploads. Overall impressions: It is mostly stylish, similar to most handheld video cameras on the market. It is quick and convenient to operate. It is small and light enough to be easy to use for extended periods. You can't take it everywhere (like the clubs that those uber-small cameras on the market make you think you'd take it) but it works great and that's all I needed. 0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Great camera for the price By Anubis Works pretty good so far. Picture quality is good but not great. It saves in .avi format, which is really convenient. All in all, I'd recommend this as an affordable camcorder. 0 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Insignia Camcorder By TK Was excited to get this camcorder - until I opened the package and found that the battery isn't working properly. This camera will only work when plugged into an outlet. Got a new battery (additional cost) and we are good to go. See all 4 customer reviews...

From the Manufacturer Get True, Crisp Color Images with our 3CCD Camera System The PV-GS400, with its 3CCD camera system, reproduces color in great fidelity by using a separate CCD for reds, greens, and blues. It's the same 3CCD technology used in Panasonic professional broadcast equipment, resulting in 540 lines of breathtaking resolution. You can count on Panasonic 3CCD digital camcorders to give you colors that are as rich and vibrant as your life. Three CCDs dedicated to the red, green, and blue colors of the spectrum (right) produce more vibrant images than do traditional one-CCD systems. Quality Pictures Start with a Quality Leica Dicomar Lens World-renowned lens-maker LEICA has developed an exquisite, 12-element, multicoated lens that helps add a high level of detail and subtlety to your creations. With refinements like a two-stage neutral density filter for aperture independent adjustment, you'll appreciate the remarkably crisp, true-to-life color that is a hallmark of Leica Dicomar optics. Capture Still Pictures with Outstanding Quality Quad-Density Pixel Distribution Technology makes it possible to capture still pictures with amazing megapixel quality. The tiny 2.5-micron intervals between pixels are shifted by one-half pitch both vertically and horizontally, which distributes them on the CCD with four times the density of previous systems. It enables model PV-GS400 to capture still pictures with incredible detail at up to 4.0 megapixels. Panasonic's Optical Image Stabilizer and 12x zoom deliver sharp photos from far away. Optical Image Stabilizer Helps Eliminate Blurred Images The Optical Image Stabilizer helps you obtain clear, beautiful pictures by compensating for any hand movement that occurs as you shoot video. Gyrosensors detect the amount and direction of movement, while a linear motor adjusts the lenses as needed to compensate. You get clear, sharp images in situations in which hand-shake is typically a problem, like wide-angle shots or high magnification levels of the zoom. 12x Optical Zoom and 700x Digital Zoom Produce an Incredibly Close Shot An optical zoom this powerful works like a telescope to produce close-up shots with extraordinary clarity. With the different zoom speeds, you can control how quick you go from a wide angle to telephoto zoom--anywhere from 2 to 22 seconds. And through the use of digital technology, the zoom ratio on all digital camcorders can be increased digitally, producing an incredibly close shot. You won't miss a single detail. Easy Video Transfer to your PC with Motion DV Studio LE This convenient feature allows you to link the camcorder to your computer via the USB port. Then, you can easily transfer still images captured on Mini DV tape to your computer for use in e-mail or in printed documents.

A well-designed and well-priced step-up to 3CCD By David I'm an "advanced amateur" who has used digital video for ~ four years. I've extensively edited hours of home video with third-party software which I've burned to DVD and share with family. I recently replaced my Sony DCR-PC5, which was a top-notch matchbook/upright style camcorder (single ~ 1/4" CCD and electronic image stabilization; ~$1500 circa 2000) with new PV-GS400 few weeks ago. I've now shot about an hour of video under various light conditions and edited a few hundred video clips with the new camcorder. I'm very happy with the upgrade and would do it again in a minute. I was worried that I might not be able to tell the difference in image quality and low-light performance (the main reasons I upgraded), but it was immediately obvious. I briefly considered the Canon GL2, but after playing with it several times in various stores, I felt it was too much camcorder for me (kind of making more of a statement than I wanted to make) and it was a little short on portability and anonymity. (By the way, if I were to buy another matchbook-style camcorder, it would be the Sony DCR-PC350, which has wonderful ergonomics-at least in the store-and a very user-friendly touch-screen-based interface.) Here are a few early observations with the PV-GS400... Oh, but first a word about the size. This is a bigger camcorder than the matchbooks, but not dramatically heavier than the older DCR-PC5, which was quite solid with lots of metal. And, although the matchbooks are "pocket-sized," that doesn't mean that they're necessarily fun or easy to carry that way. My Sony fit beautifully in my coat pocket-but tended to hang down around my knees. The bottom line is that most of the quality camcorders with decent-sized chips will require fanny pack or small backpack, and the PV-GS400 would fit easily in either. Pros: 1. Excellent video quality; low light performance is substantially better than my single-CCD Sony miniDV DCR-PC5 (with which I've always been very happy). Color fidelity appears excellent and is quite good indoors. 2. Build quality is very good-much better than the Panasonic PV-GS200 that I used briefly. Still a lot of plastic, though, but I guess it keeps the weight (and cost) down. 3. Multifunction ring (around the lens) is quick and easy way to access the extensive manual controls (shutter, iris, zoom, focus, white balance). The three control buttons for activating these functions may be blocked by tilted LCD screen when shooting with the screen out, but this was usually only minor inconvenience. The ring itself has a nice, solid feel. 4. The 3.5 inch LCD is gorgeous, seemingly rivaling my 17" LCD monitor (as crazy as that sounds) for color and clarity. Made the screen on my -PC5 look like my son's GameBoy when I went back. 5. The zoom control gives nice results-relatively easy to achieve fast or slow zooms. 6. Recognized by iMovie 4 (I haven't had to use any of the PC-based software bundled with the camcorder). 7. Zebra feature, which highlights overexposed areas of the image on the LCD (prior to recording), is nice "prosumer" feature that I quickly learned to appreciate. Cons: 1. The most serious flaw, especially for users needing glasses, is that eye relief for the viewfinder was a little limited; even without eyeglasses there was some vignetting ("tunnel vision") of the view. With glasses, I could only see about the central 75% of the field of view. The apparent size of the image in the viewfinder was also quite small-much smaller to my eye than on my DCR-PC5. Evidently, one is meant to use primarily the fold-out screen. It worked quite well-even in bright sunlight to my surprise. 2. Ergonomics are suboptimal for me after four years with a matchbook-style; it's not as easy to hold as the latter type, in my opinion, but I'm getting more accustomed to it. In its defense, though, the auxiliary

While we certainly hope you keep your VIXIA HF R10 securely in your hand while shooting, if it happens to slip, or you accidentally knock it against something, you'll be happy to know that flash memory makes your camcorder more shock-resistant than other recording storage systems. It also minimizes the chance of data loss if there is damage to your recording media or to the moving parts found in other camcorders. Stunning Image Quality A Genuine Canon 20x HD Video Lens delivers unsurpassed image quality. The Canon Exclusive 2.39-megapixel HD CMOS Image Sensor captures high definition video and photos with astonishing detail, while Canon's Exclusive DIGIC DV III Image Processor provides the ultimate in color and imaging performance, with enhanced reproduction of difficult to capture purple and blue tones. Instant AF A critical objective when shooting in high definition is achieving the sharpest focus possible. The VIXIA HF R10 camcorder features Canon's revolutionary Instant AF focusing system which offers a dramatic improvement in auto focus speed and accuracy, compared to traditional auto focus systems. The Instant AF feature uses an external sensor, in combination with Canon's auto focus system, to help significantly decrease the time it takes to find focus, even in low light conditions. This system achieves focus instantaneously, reducing focus "hunting." This is especially beneficial in high brightness or night shooting situations. In addition, with Instant AF, it's possible to capture fast, accurate focusing even when following a moving subject. To further enhance focusing capability, the VIXIA HF R10 also features Focus Assist. This helps in capturing your subject in razor-sharp focus. It works by providing a 2x magnification of your subject, which is automatically cancelled when you start recording. This is a feature normally found in professional broadcast-quality cameras. Dynamic IS With the Canon VIXIA HF R10, you can be sure that even on the move your video will be smooth, steady and professional looking. The Dynamic IS system provides continuous adjustment throughout the entire zoom range to correct a broader range of motion. In comparison to conventional electronic image stabilization systems, extra compensation is applied at wide-angle focal lengths to eliminate unwanted vibration common when shooting while walking. 2.7" Widescreen LCD The 2.7" Widescreen LCD on the VIXIA HF R10 lets you see more of what your camcorder is recording. There's no need to imagine what your final image will look like on your widescreen television because it's squeezed into a small space while you're shooting. Smart Auto Smart Auto makes shooting great video easier than ever before. Using the power of Canon's DIGIC DV III Image Processor, the VIXIA HF R10 intelligently detects and analyzes faces, brightness, color, distance, and movement, then automatically selects the best settings for the scene. Whether you are capturing a sunset, a day at the beach, or a fast-paced soccer game, Smart Auto delivers exceptionally accurate results. Genuine Canon Face Detection The same high quality Face Detection technology used in Canon digital cameras is available in Canon high definition camcorders. Up to 35 faces can be tracked automatically, ensuring razor-sharp focus and natural, accurate exposure. Of the faces tracked, 9 detection frames can be displayed at one time. In fact, the system is so intelligent that it will recognize faces turned downwards or sideways. In addition, a specific face may be selected as the main subject for continuous tracking. This feature is convenient in searching for clips which feature that specific subject's face. In search and playback, use of the Face Index will display those frames with the chosen face as a thumbnail in each shot in which it appears. Your selected face can also be linked as a timeline to further identify footage containing your subject. Advanced Video Snapshot Advanced Video Snapshot allows you to capture the highlights of a once in a lifetime trip or a family milestone with the same ease as taking photos. Simply record a series of short video clips – or select your favorite clips while in Playback Mode – and blend in your favorite background music to create an exciting movie that will hold everyone's attention. This version of Advanced Video Snapshot allows selectable recording time of 2, 4, or 8 seconds. Additionally, audio from an external source, such as an MP3 player, can be played along with the snapshot movie and playback can be controlled from that source. Easy Web Sharing HD-to-SD Downconversion allows you to convert recorded high definition video to standard definition files while safely preserving the original HD video. These standard definition files make it even more convenient to edit, share video online, or create a DVD. The downconverted video can be transferred to your computer via traditional methods – i.e. USB connection, card slot – or wirelessly to sharing sites with an Eye-Fi SD memory card. The VIXIA HF R10 is also compatible with the Eye-Fi SD memory card. It's possible to wirelessly transfer video and photos to your computer, or upload them directly to online sharing sites (e.g., Facebook, YouTube, Shutterfly, Flickr) in a few simple steps. Insert an Eye-Fi SD memory card into the SD card slot on the camcorder, configure your computer to select the target site and you're ready to share your standard definition files with family, friends, and the world! Canon camcorders are not guaranteed to support Eye-Fi card functions (including wireless transfer). In case of an issue with an Eye-Fi card, please check with Eye-Fi, Inc. Outside of the United States and Canada, government approval is required to use Eye-Fi cards in many countries or regions. Without approval, use of the card is not permitted. If it is unclear whether the card has been approved for use in the area, please check with Eye-Fi, Inc. Built-in Digital Camera Since Canon is acknowledged as a world leading maker of digital cameras, it's not surprising that the VIXIA HF R10, in addition to being a brilliant camcorder, is also a capable digital camera. Once again, Canon delivers features and technology that advance convenience and capability. The VIXIA HF R10's Dual Shot makes it easier than ever to capture both video and photos. Auto Intelligent Auto Focus, AiAF, ensures sharp images and gives creative flexibility. Even when your subject isn't in the center of the frame, the VIXIA HF R10's 9-Point AiAF will automatically select from 9 metering frames on the screen to help bring images into sharp focus. You can also choose from a range of exposure modes: Auto, AV (aperture priority), TV (shutter priority), and P (program). For optimal exposure, the VIXIA HF R10 offers selectable metering patterns. You can choose the options of Evaluative, Center-Weighted Average, and Spot. The AE Bracketing feature of the VIXIA HF R10 automatically takes three versions of a shot, with 'dark,' 'normal' and 'light' settings in ½ exposure steps so you may choose the one that best suits you. The VIXIA HF R10 can shoot up to 3 frames per second in the Continuous Mode, or a blazing 5 frames per second in the High Speed Continuous Mode. The VIXIA HF R10 comes with a Histogram Display which allows you to see the brightness information of your photos, so you can adjust your exposures as you shoot. With the Level Marker feature, it's easy to keep your camera level for more professional-looking photos. The VIXIA HF R10's Grid Marker feature lets you compose your shot accurately, according to the grid in your viewfinder. You can even choose from two different colors for the grid ensuring that you see the grid, no matter what the background color of your shot is. The versatile VIXIA HF R10 even lets you capture a still image from an already recorded movie. While playing the movie in your camcorder, simply press the photo button to capture a 1920 x 1080 still image onto an SD card or to internal memory. Additionally, the VIXIA HF R10 allows you to capture 30 photos from one second of video. Now, better photos, filled with action and expressions, are easy to grab, print, post and share. Your VIXIA HF R10's built-in flash lets you capture superb photos indoors and in low light conditions. The VIXIA HF R10 also features red-eye reduction. Print/Share allows you to connect your camcorder directly to select Canon printers or any PictBridge-compatible printer with the supplied USB cable and with a touch of the Print/Share button, print directly from your VIXIA HF R10. Print/Share also makes it easy to transfer your photos to your computer. You can also easily burn DVDs of your photos taken with your VIXIA HF R10 as it is compatible with Canon's DW-100 DVD Burner. A one-cable connection is all it takes to send the files across and, with the click of a few buttons, your photos are ready to share with all. 24p & 30p Frame Modes 24p Cinema Mode enables all aspiring moviemakers to achieve a professional "film-look." You can change the camcorder's frame capture rate to 24p (recorded at 60i), which provides the appearance of the same frame rate as movie film. In addition, you can use the VIXIA HF R10's CINE mode, which changes the color and tonal characteristics, evoking the look and feel of a movie shown in a theater. For added flexibility, these settings can be used together or independently. You would normally have to look to professional video cameras in order to find a sophisticated tool like 30p Progressive Mode at your command. In addition to the standard interlaced video frame rate of 60i, you may choose to set the VIXIA HF R10 to capture video in 30p, (30 progressive frames, recorded to 60i) which is particularly useful for footage to be used on the Internet. It's also excellent for action and sports shots. In addition, this setting gives enhanced quality to photos captured after recording. Terminals To maximize the usefulness and versatility of the VIXIA HF R10, you'll find a range of terminals to extend the capabilities of your camcorder. Easy, one-cable connectivity to your HDTV is achieved through the VIXIA HF R10's HDMI Terminal which also supports CEC and x.v.Color. A Microphone terminal with manual audio level control and Headphone terminal provide exceptional audio flexibility. Additional Features Built-in Electronic Lens Cover The Built-in Electronic Lens Cover means you never have to go looking for your lens cover again. Turn your camcorder on and the lens cover automatically opens. Turn it off, and the cover closes. It couldn't be simpler. Quick Start Never miss a quickly unfolding shot again, as it's possible to shoot the moment the LCD is opened. No worries about using up power with Quick Start - by keeping the LCD screen closed between shots, Quick Start allows you to save battery power so you get longer battery life. Pre-Record The Pre-record feature places your VIXIA HF R10 in a stand-by "pre-roll" mode. With this feature the camcorder continuously records three seconds of video to memory before you even press the record button. When you start recording, the additional video is recorded too. It will be easier than ever to capture the moment when the bat hits the ball at the start of that home run. Pixela ImageMixer 3SE Video Editing Software is bundled with the VIXIA HF R10. You can easily perform a variety of functions, including AVCHD Editing in which you can trim, reorder, and combine scenes, as well as add music, titles, and transitions. This software also allows you to play your AVCHD movies on your computer and will also let you share copies of your movie with friends and family through flash memory to hard drive copying. Transfer and store your movie onto your computer's hard drive with the software and easily convert your high definition video to standard definition video as well. This software will also assist you in converting video to the optimum resolution for transmission over the Internet. With Pixela ImageMixer 3SE, you can burn your edited video onto Blu-ray disc, AVCHD DVDs (which play in AVCHD compatible Blu-ray disc players), or onto standard definition DVDs. And to complement the VIXIA HF R10's Video Snapshot feature, a music CD containing royalty-free soundtracks is also provided. * The bundled application is compatible with Windows XP and Windows Vista DVD Burner Compatible You can also easily burn DVDs of the video shot with your VIXIA HF R10 as it is compatible with Canon's DW-100 DVD Burner. Then I did my homework. I browsed owner-posted comments in camcorder forums. I borrowed a friend's R10 and tried it out for the day. I went to a camcorder outlet store and spent several hours trying out competitors to this camcorder. I compared the R10 spec's against its competitors. I spent way more time researching this than you'll ever want to. I concluded nobody should buy this camcorder. This camcorder has several critical flaws, and has only a couple minor advantages over its competitors. By the way, I happily own several Canon camcorders (HF S100, and HF M300) so I have nothing against the Canon brand. MAJOR FLAWS: -> Poorly isolated microphone records ANNOYING "ticking" noise movement of autofocus mechanism. (This is reported by hundreds of owners in multiple online forums.) Your video ends up with annoying background "woodpecker" sound, very noticeable in video of quieter scenes. (You can solve that by only using your camcorder to record video of woodpeckers!) It is impractical to try solving this with an external mic, because the R10/R11/R100 has the mic input but no mic mount (are you gonna walk around carrying a camcorder in one hand and a boom mic in the other?) -> Short spec sheet claims "full 1920 x 1080 recording" but that is a lie because camcorder is limited to 1664 x 936, which it then interpolates up to 1920 x 1080. That's pathetic! (and the result doesn't look as crisp as true 1920 x 1080). Yet for about $40 over the price of the R10 you can buy the Canon M300, which has a sensor that can capture at true 1920 x 1080, and has twice the effective pixels in video mode. -> This camcorder supports no mounting of any attachments; there is no standard cold (or hot) shoe, or mini Advanced hot shoe. In many shooting situations, you'll end up with lousy video because you couldn't attach the accessory needed to get good video. -> It doesn't even have a filter thread to add filters or lenses! Yet it doesn't even include a integrated wider-angle lens, as seen in some competitor camcorders. Try shooting video of a couple sitting next to each other across the dinner table from you; this camcorder can maybe get ONE of their two faces into the frame, due to lack of wide-angle lens. Yet for a few bucks more you could buy a Canon HF M300/M30/M31/M32 to which you can attach a host lenses/filters such as a wide-angle lens, and also attach other accessories (to mini Advanced hot shoe) and then retain and re-use those accessories when you eventually upgrade to something like the Vixia HF S200/S20/S21 -> The pathetically small 720mAh battery dies way too soon (some owners say under 45 min). This camcorder doesn't use the current standard Canon camcorder batteries (BP-808, BP-819, BP-827, etc.) that are available in a wide range of capacities, and at low cost in non-OEM form. -> Suffers from washed-out grainy video in low-light (or even medium light), a drawback common to most all Canon camcorders in the HF and FS tiers. Dynamic range also rather limited. MAJOR ADVANTAGES to the R10/R11/R100: -> No touch screen! Most competitor camcorders (of similar small size) unfortunately have touch screens that are usually cumbersome to use as result of too many touch locations jammed across a very small (often rather unresponsive) LCD touch surface. I have a Canon camcorder w/o touch screen and a Canon w/a touch screen. I can literally make menu/function adjustments 3X as fast on the non-touch screen Canon. I like the LCD mounted button and 4-way Navi button found on the R10 camcorder. -> This is a relatively cute looking camcorder and it comes in multiple colors. -> For English-as-second language customers, this (and most Canon camcorders) support quickly changing all menus to display in one of many available language options, ranging from

The picture and sound quality are great, I dont think I could ask for more. The battery it comes with is good for over an hour, which easily covers a 60 minute tape. Thats better than the default battery you get with a lot of other camcorders which are often in the 30-45 minute range. It lacks the remote control and USB/memory card you get with the 2 higher (and more expensive) models, but thats fine by me. It can still take stills, but its not a function I have any interest in. If I want good stills, I have a 2.2MP Kodak for that. Pretty much everyone knows by now that you dont get good stills off a camcorder, just as you dont get good video off a still cam. If its an included secondary feature, then fine, but dont expect the quality you get with a more dedicated device. I got this for the video, and its a wonderful thing. It doesnt do too well in really low light, of course I wasnt really expecting otherwise. I have yet to ever see a digital camcorder that actually does great with inadequet light. It has a night mode, which does greatly increase the lighting, but it drops the frame rate terribly. It has another "backlight" function that can be handy for less than optimal lighting. But in reasonable-good lighting, you get wonderfull piture quality. It has a nice selection of transition effects built in, I still have yet to explore them all. The 16x optical zoom is cool. Its more than enough for me. The size of the unit is nice, not too big and not too small - similar in shape/size to the canon ZR series, only this thing is of higher quality than the canon counterparts, especially where audio is concerned. Now, Im sure this isnt the ideal model for everyone in every situation, but for the price, you'd be hard pressed to get this kind of quality elsewhere. There are $$$$ models that cant compare to this, so Im happy with the buy. Its pretty easy to use. Not too much of a learning curve. Not so many buttons that you get lost. Manual/automatic choices. Yeah, its a nice piece of work and I was surprised at how affordable it was. I would recommend this to most people. 128 of 131 people found the following review helpful. Overall Great Value By William Monti I just got my GRD30 yesterday and spent a good amount of time with it last night. Overall, I think it is a very good camera for the price. It wasn't made overly clear to me (until I read through the manual) what the real differences were between this model and the GRD70/90 models. The only differences I saw were that this model has no remote control (not a big deal for me) and doesn't have on-board memory chip for storing still images (again, not a big deal). What I do think is important to know, though, is that the GRD70/90 models accept DV INPUT and can record the DV input onto the MiniDV tape. Had I known that, I might have stepped up, but I'm not sure it's worth a hundred dollars.Overal Pros:The picture quality is excellent. The CCD resolution is outstanding at this price point -- 50% higher resolution than most other entry-level models (what sold me on this camera). The price (and, therefore the value) is excellent.Battery life is better than average (>1 hr) and it fully charges in less than 1.5 hrs....and So-So's:The zoom is adequate, but not spectacular. There is some on-tape noise when zooming in and out, but it's not overwhelming. We didn't even notice it until we taped our dog running in the yard (with no conversation). The image stabilization is merely okay. But, it is a worthwhile feature....and Cons:There is NO on-board light, and the low-light functionality is not spectacular. I'm not sure how much that will come in to play down the road. There is no auxiliary audio input, so the front-facing microphone is all you get.If you're looking for an entry-level DV camcorder, you could do a lot worse. 96 of 106 people found the

From the Manufacturer Canon HD Video Lens Adding to the success of the VIXIA HF10 and HF100, Canon introduces the HF11 which captures stunning High Definition video with even greater detail and tonal reproduction, with its innovative 24Mbps capability, and a higher internal Flash drive capacity of 32GB plus an SDHC card slot that allows extended recording time. And, like all Canon VIXIA camcorders, the HF11 features: a Canon HD video lens, FULL HD CMOS Sensor, and Canon’s exclusive DIGIC DV II image processor. Create the look and feel of Hollywood movies with the HF11’s 24p Cinema Mode and even use Canon's Photo Grabbing function to capture still images from previously recorded video. If online video posting and sharing interests you, the HF11’s 30p mode provides the perfect frame rate for the web and delivers clarity for fast-action subjects. The HF11 offers the unparalleled combination of Canon’s exclusive SuperRange Optical Image Stabilizer to stabilize a wide range of movements, Instant AF for accurate focusing that’s critical for HD, a built-in video light to easily shoot in dark settings, and a 2.7-inch Multi-Angle Vivid Widescreen LCD that allows you to view from various angles with true color representation and contrast. The HF11 features the latest HD technology, excellence in Canon optics and engineering in a compact, sleek design to deliver the high level of performance you've come to expect from Canon. Canon HF11 Highlights Dual Flash Memory -- Taking Video to the Next Level Canon’s breakthrough use of Dual Flash Memory -- the ability to record to an internal Flash drive as well as a removable SDHC memory card -- allows consumers to experience a new level of performance, style and flexibility. It boasts a number of advantages and end-user benefits for maximum convenience and flexibility. Since Flash Memory is a solid-state memory format and has no moving parts, the camcorder can be smaller, sleeker, more compact and lighter than ever before, allowing it to be carried anywhere. Dual Flash Memory allows consumers to record video to the camcorder’s internal Flash drive even if they do not have a memory card. When the internal Flash drive becomes full, footage can be easily transferred to a SDHC memory card and when it comes time to view their video, the card is simply 'popped into' a memory card reader in a computer or a compatible HDTV for instant viewing. Furthermore, having a SDHC memory card slot allows for expandability, since greater capacity can be added in the future by purchasing additional cards. Flash Memory is a highly stable method of storage, and as a result, accidental jolts to the camcorder are much less likely to result in failure or data loss. Consumers will also enjoy the camcorder's low power consumption, which leads to longer battery time. Compared with other types of storage, Flash Memory camcorders are able to read and write data faster, so users can start recording faster and have immediate access to their recorded scenes. Record Up to 12 hours 15 minutes of High Definition Video on an internal 32 GB Flash drive. The HF11 enables extended high definition videos to be recorded to the internal 32 GB Flash drive or directly to secure digital high capacity (SDHC) cards. Enjoy the great convenience of taping directly to the drive or the flexibility of convenient, easily interchangeable recording media. Genuine Canon 12x High Definition Video Lens The HF11 comes equipped with a 12x HD Video lens. An aspherical lens is used to help achieve low aberration and high resolution. The lens also features super spectra coating technology which lowers flare and ghosting. A gradation ND system is used for better exposure in bright shooting situations. This lens design creates true HD image quality. RGB Primary Color Filter Whether you're shooting video or photos, you will appreciate the HF11 stunning, high-definition image production. For rich, accurate color, the HF11 uses an RGB Primary Color Filter. It separates light into red, green, and blue color components, resulting in vibrant images with natural-looking tones similar to what you’d obtain from 3CCD camcorders. Canon 3.3 Megapixel Full HD CMOS Sensor (1920 x 1080) The HF11 features a newly developed; Canon manufactured HD CMOS Image Sensor. Similar to its use in Canon's EOS Series Digital SLR Cameras, the CMOS Sensor reproduces high resolution images as true HD movies. Canon's HD CMOS Sensor acquires image information at 1920 x 1080 pixels. Canon’s HD CMOS Sensor also features on-chip noise reduction technology. This low noise technology feature means that even in dimly-lit scenes, the signals from each pixel are as pure as possible, with minimal 'noise' or other aberrations. DIGIC DV II Image Processor DIGIC DV II is the latest generation of Canon's exclusive DIGIC DV signal processing technology designed specifically for HD. Thanks to DIGIC DV II image processing, the HF11 produces video with improved color reproduction -- especially in skin tones, and dark and light scenes. It also uses a hybrid noise reduction system that employs two types of noise reduction -- for images that are crystal clear. Since video and still images have different color requirements, DIGIC DV II HD digital signal processing ensures optimal image quality for both HD video and still images. 1920 x 1080 Full HD Recording The Canon HF11 not only captures images in Full HD, but records and outputs 1920 x 1080 as well, so you get Full HD from lens to screen. Experience the ultimate in clarity and detail. Instant AF (Auto Focus) Instant AF is Canon’s new and advanced autofocus system required for High Definition. Using a Hybrid Control system, the Instant AF makes it easy to focus on previously difficult subjects. It dramatically decreases the time it takes to achieve proper focus and increases accuracy especially in low-light and high-brightness situations. SuperRange Optical Image Stabilizer The HF11 features Canon’s SuperRange Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). Utilizing a Hybrid detection method (combining vector and gyro detection method) corrects camera shake instantly for steady shots. And unlike other optical stabilization systems, Canon's Super Range OIS covers a wide range of movements while preserving image quality. It is even effective while taking photos. 24Mbps Recording Offers the highest bit rate in AVCHD for High Definition video that captures extraordinary lifelike tonal quality and exceptionally fine detail. 24p Cinema Mode 24p Cinema Mode is a feature demanded by professional filmmakers and previously, only available on pro-level camcorders. 24p Cinema Mode enables all aspiring movie makers achieve a professional 'film-look'. This mode is actually two different features, which can be used independently, or together, depending on the user’s preference. 1. The captured frame rate changes to 24p -- the same frame rate as movie film. 2. The HF11 changes the color and tonal characteristics to make you feel like you are watching a movie in the theatre. 30p Progressive Mode 30p Progressive mode is a progressive format that is the perfect frame rate for the web because it delivers clarity for fast-action subjects. Plus, it is ideal for displaying crisp images on your home theatre system or computer monitor. Before now 30p was exclusively featured on pro-level camcorders but Canon now offers the widest frame rate options for every videographer. (Note: Records in 60i onto memory card.) Mini Advanced Accessory Terminal The Advanced Accessory Shoe allows the use of additional accessories such as Canon's video light and directional microphone. Compared with Canon’s original Advanced Accessory Shoe, the new version is 50% smaller in size. Intelligent Lithium-Ion Battery The remaining battery time is now indicated down to the minute, so you will never have to guess the recording time available. 3.1 Megapixel Photos Built directly inside your HF11 is a fully functional digital camera, capable of capturing stunning 3.1 Megapixel photos. You have the option of storing these pictures directly to the internal Flash Memory or the optional SDHC memory card. HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface Terminal) HDMI Terminal transports high definition video signal with audio in one cable to your HD Television. The new standard in HD connection. 2.7-Inch Multi-Angle Vivid Widescreen LCD The HF11 is equipped with a Multi-Angle Vivid LCD. This screen offers two key advantages for easy, flexible operation. 1. A wide viewing angle - view from any direction 2. A wide color range - provide robust, accurate color Microphone Terminal with Audio Level Control The HF11 features a microphone terminal for attaching an external microphone. The audio level can be manually adjusted for greater flexibility. A level meter is shown in the LCD screen. One Touch Power Button Power your camcorder with a touch of a button just like a digital camera. Built-in Auto Lens Cover A built-in electronic lens cover automatically opens when the camcorder is turned 'On' and closes when turned 'Off'. There is no dangling lens cover to lose. Quick Start Instead of powering your camcorder off between shots, simply close the LCD to activate the Quick Start function which puts the camcorder in stand-by mode. Quick Start considerably reduces the power consumption of the battery and allows the user to return to recording mode in less than a second, so you’ll never have to miss another special moment. Program AE Mode The HF11 gives you a choice of settings that automatically result in the best exposure for different conditions. Scene modes include: Portrait, Sports, Night, Snow, Beach, Sunset, Spotlight, and Fireworks. Each adjusts your camcorder's settings to compensate for different lighting conditions and different subjects. Simultaneous Photo Shooting While shooting an HD movie, you can simultaneously capture photos to a memory card by simply pressing the photo button. It's perfect for anytime you don't want to miss a moment. Built-in Video Light Increase your low-light capabilities even further by shooting with the HF11’s built-in video light. This light enables you to shoot subjects in low-light at distances up to 4.9 feet away. Headphone Terminal The audio/video terminal doubles as a headphone terminal for monitoring sound while recording. Focus Assist function When shooting in high definition, a properly focused subject is more critical than ever. With one push of the Focus Assist Button (during manual focus setting), video zoom (that enlarges the on-screen image of your subject) is displayed. Not to worry, this is automatically cancelled when recording is started. It's easy to keep your HF11 level for more professional looking video. Simply press the Level Shot Control button, and a horizontal marker appears in your viewfinder. Then line up any horizontal lines in your shot to the marker and you know your camcorder is level. The Grid marker is also very convenient for setting up the special balance in your shots. And since background colors vary, you can select from two line colors to make the lines easily visible. Smooth Zoom Control With this innovative feature, you can always be sure of smooth, steady, professional looking zoom shots. Simply select one of three pre-set zoom speeds. You can also select variable so you can control the speed manually. 3.1 Megapixel Photos Capture stunning 3.1 Megapixel photos in 4:3 aspect ratio to an SD card (2.07 megapixel at 16:9). Photo Grab With this professional level feature, capture photos during playback. With one push of a button you can 'grab a 2 Megapixel (1920 x 1080) still from your HD video footage. There is no need to worry about taking a photo while you’re shooting. 9 Point Ai-AF Mode Auto Intelligent Auto Focus ensures sharp images and gives creative flexibility. Even when your subject isn't in the center of the frame, the HF11’s Ai-AF function will automatically select from 9 focus areas on screen to help bring images into sharp focus. Built-in Flash Capture superb images in low light and indoor photography settings. Histogram Display Commonly used in Canon’s line of digital SLR cameras, the HF11 features a Histogram Display. With just one push of a button, the brightness information of a still image is revealed. This allows you to monitor image quality so you can make adjustments to improve the next shots. Print/Share Button For fast and easy, one-touch printing of your photos at home, simply press the camcorder’s Print & Share Button. The button can also be used for one-touch downloading of your images to a computer. One Year Parts and Labor Limited Warranty Canon’s one year camcorder limited warranty provides protection long after other manufacturers’ warranties expire.

By Nils Valentin Long review: 10 min.| I got the HF11 video camera in urgent need for a specific occasion. The 60th fireworks event of Suwako lake / Nagano Prefecture in Japan on 15th August 2008. (official sale start in Japan) As the overall package Canon with its long term experience in Imaging seemed like "The natural Choice to make". The video camera integrates a huge amount of intelligent functions that ensure the quality of your video experience. - image stabilizer, - light sensitivity sensor, - profiles - variable zoom speeds, - remaining battery status info, - alignment markers in the screen - smart replay functions (slow motion, freezing , advancing frame by frame etc.) On top of that the video cameras body weight with 380gr. and the size of your favourite beverage is well acceptable even for ladies or kids hands. The HF11 does come with a few usability hitches in terms of inconsistency, bugs etc. (see my how to guide for details), but besides that, the HF11's navigation is intuitive and exactly as the digital camera products. So, that was not a showstopper for us. Most users are able to use the product within minutes !! For video editing features you might want to look into additional software editing and codec converter solutions like Divx, Xvid etc. to be able to share the joy with your friends on DVD etc. The package contains all possible cables but NOT the ultra compact HDMI cable connection. The major salespoints of this video camera are - Imaging quality (resolution and smoothness of video) - Canons colours - Usability - Usability and - Usability The Imaging quality is unlike anything I have seen before and easily justifies the product alone. HF11, HF10 or HF100, which one should I get ? If you cant compromise video quality for anything get the HF11 with its 24mbps recording mode and be rest assured you have the extra stretch when you need it f.e. in low light scenarios and the best model on the marcet in the personal camcorder class. Otherwise, if you can life with good quality and the same usability and other features as the big brother than you can make a deal by getting the HF10 or the HF100. The intelligent functions and the exceptionally good design make the HF100, the HF10 or the HF11 the natural choice for beginners, amateurs and entry professionals. This is the quality customers are expecting from a long term Imaging company like Canon !! Additional Notes: Vibrations: Note that other camcorders with moving parts f.e. HDD's might not be working in extreme situations with strong vibrations f.e in concerts due to bass vibration. The camcorder makers do specifically NOT recommend taking videos in live houses - as they formulate it. So you might find yourself having to record onto the memory card while the HDD is NOT usable. (I mention it because its not so obvious from the product descriptions of camcorders.) Fortunately with the HF11/HF10/HF100 or any flash memory based camcorder you dont have to worry about this too ;-) Memory usage: 8GB of memory will provide you with 1h of best quality Full HD pleasure. So even if you just use the 32GB internal memory it means that the HF11 has enough storage for 4h of best quality Full HD video. Thats plenty f.e. for your best friends wedding ceremony, the wedding party afterwards and even your kids school ceremony the next day. Also memory usage is the same when actually comparing, this video camera has at least 3.5 times more details on the screen than the best digital camera out there with video function. Please see my How to guide for more details and all PRO's and CON's. 12 of 12 people found the following review helpful. Things to think about By D. Sanders I've had this camcorder for 7 months now and have been somewhat pleased with it overall. The reason I only gave it 4 stars is for some annoying issues I have with it. First off, you can

I bought the MPVR at Target for $128.77 (the lowest price I found). There were only 2 left, so I took that as a good sign. After the initial charge, which took less than the four hours stated in the manual, I was ready to play. I took a few pictures inside my house in low-light conditions, both at 1 and 3 megapixel resolution. I also shot a short video just so I could test it. The following morning I shot another video outside (it was a beautiful day with plenty of sun), and I took pictures in all the available resolutions: VGA, 1, 3, and 6MP. Here's what I think: For under $150 you get a digital still camera, digital camcorder, MP3 player, voice recorder, and TV-DVD recorder. It's an amazing deal. -The camera: While it does tout the camera as being able to take pictures at 6MP resolution, the actual sensor is for 3MP. I was a little thrown off by this, but if you research, you'll find that more megapixels doesn't necessarily mean better quality, and this little camera is a perfect example. The way it achieves the 6MP resolution is by taking them at 3MP and adding in the extra pixels by the use of an algorithm (similar to what happens when you enlarge a picture using any photo-editing software) before the JPEG encoding, so the results are good. The images are crisp and vibrant. The get a little fuzzy when you take them at full zoom (4x optical), but that's nothing a good tripod can't fix. I currently have the resolution set at VGA because it's the perfect size for email attachments. -The camcorder: The first video I shot was indoors, at night-time, without engaging the night mode, and in low light. The image was good but a little fuzzy. The one I shot outdoors was beautiful. The colors were brilliant, and there was very little noise. Also the microphone is really good, and you can adjust the volume settings. You can also zoom in and out while recording video. There are two settings for video: VGA, and the lower-quality less-space consuming QVGA. All video is encoded in MPEG4 so it easily plays on your computer. -MP3 player: When you connect the camera to your computer, you'll find an MP3 folder. Just drag and drop your songs there and you're set. The speaker on the camera is pretty good, but it distorts a little if you have it on too loud. The included ear-buds are pretty good, although I'm sure it would sound much better with high-end Bose. You can't fast-forward or rewind a song, but how often do you really do that? -Voice recorder and TV-DVD recorder: I haven't used either of these functions yet, but from the sound I heard in the videos, I can probably say the voice recorder is good too. For TV-DVD recording, the camera comes with AV cables so it's just a matter of connecting the camera and hitting record. A 2GB SD card will hold about 2 hours of video. The MPVR is amazing. It blew me away. And the size is fantastic. It comes with a 2.4" swivel screen, slim rechargeable battery and charger, AV-out/USB combo cable, AV-in cable, and wrist strap. It comes with an internal 16MB flash memory, and a SD/MMC slot accepting cards of up to 2GB. The only draw back that I could find is that the lens is not covered and it does not include a cap. So just be careful not to scratch it. When I first bought the camera I wasn't sure if I was going to keep it, but now that I've fallen in love with it I bought a small compact camera case (BestBuy has good, cheap ones) and a 256MB Kingston SD card. At the manufacturer's website, www.aiptek.com, you'll find extra accessories such as an AC adapter for the camera, extra batteries, tripods, and a wireless remote. This camera does seem too good to be true, but I can assure you, you won't be disappointed. 86 of 90 people found the following review helpful. A Waste of Money By Smork68 I bought this in hopes it would basically replace my camcorder and picture camera as it advertises. One positive is in absolute bright light it has an ok picture. The rest of the time it is not worth the effort. It is light in the handle and heavy at the top. It advertises that is has leather on it. It is not on the handle, so it is very slippery in your hands. Pushing the record button is awkward. The camera does not have any balance. The pistol grip is a good idea, but pushing the record trigger you have to loosen your grip and stretch to get it to record, thus causing the camera to jerk around. The other problem is downloading, non-existant software and a mpeg-4 codec which make it imposible to edit with out buying conversion software. I could go on! Bottomline, Save your money. Good idea possibly in the future with upgrades. I forgot sound is horrible. If you notice there is no advertising about sound. It is be cause it is horrible. Well, once again. Save your money, I bought a digital camera buy "C" and I could not be happier. Hope this helps. 0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. A year later and still love it By Shelley K. Lane I have had this digicam for a year now and am so happy with it. A friend of mine said the picture on her $250 sony camcorder was better than mine so we put it to the test. We both recorded 2 minutes of my husband riding around the yard on his scooter and hooked each to the tv for our small audience to watch. My picture got much better reviews and her sound got much a little better reviews. I don't have a problem with the controls, they are very convenient. My problem is I can never remember how to get to a certain screen, even now. I love the light, although I don't know how I will replace them when they die since they are enclosed. I don't like the fact that you can only use up to a 4 gig memory card and has no internal memory. I just have to remember to take extra memory cards on vacation. The manual says not to let the battery die or you will lose the memory but that didn't happen with mine. I still had the 2 days vacation on the unit. I really do love this unit. I don't know that I would buy another one since I had originally wanted a flip out with internal memory but I still love it. See all 2 customer reviews...

Most helpful customer reviews 90 of 95 people found the following review helpful. Multiple Flaws in this model. Avoid it By Stockstradr I was planning to buy this camcorder as a gift for a friend.
