The sleek and stylish TX10 fits the slimmest pocket or purse, yet is waterproof to a depth of 16 ft10, shockproof from falls up to approximately 5 ft9 and dustproof12 thanks to its airtight construction. Seamlessly shifting from underwater marvels to a night on the town, the TX10 always makes it easy to get the best shot! 3-inch Touch screen A large 3-inch touch screen LCD makes it easy for viewing and sharing images with simple and fun touch operation. 16.2 Megapixel Back-illuminated “Exmor R” CMOS Image Sensor The DSC-TX10 features a 16.2 megapixel “Exmor R” CMOS image sensor that brings out the full resolving power of the camera’s Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens to deliver extremely fast speed, high resolution, and stunning low-light sensitivity with improved image clarity and drastically reduced grain. In addition, the combined “Exmor R” CMOS sensor and BIONZ image processor delivers extremely fast 10fps, Anti Motion Blur, Hand-held Twilight and 1080i movie modes7. Full HD 1080@60i Record crystal clear movies at the highest resolution available with capabilities for 60i in 1080 Full HD3. This provides stunning, fast motion video with less distortion for playback on your HD TV. 3D still image Produce awe-inspiring images with 3D still image and 3D Sweep Panorama capabilities. Images will take on a new dimension to view the world in a whole new way5. iSweep Panorama With iSweep Panorama just press the shutter, pan the landscape and let the camera do the rest. It automatically links together each frame to produce a panoramic image. This model even detects faces and moving subjects to stitch intelligently different widths to help avoid subject distortion. Background Defocus DSLR photographs are often beautiful because they blur the background, putting the emphasis on the subject. Now our point-and-shoot cameras can deliver this signature DSLR benefit. The system takes two shots, identifies the background and applies a defocused background keeping the subject crisp and clear. Superior Auto Mode Get cleaner, more dynamic pictures and fewer missed shots. The camera automatically recognizes the correct scene mode, then quickly shoots and combines up to six shots to produce images with greater clarity, optimum dynamic range using backlight correction HDR technology and lower image noise using 6 shots layering technology. Superior Auto intelligently detects 36 scenes for still images and movies, making it easy to get the best shot. Soft Skin Mode Portrait subjects will love the results. Soft Skin mode recognizes skin tones and reduces the appearance of blemishes and wrinkles without affecting the rest of the shot. Natural Flash Conventional point-and-shoot camera flash shots just don't capture colors the way the eye sees them. Natural Flash mode takes a reference shot without flash and then uses that reference to correct the color, for far more lifelike images. High speed shooting The DSC-TX10 can capture full 16.2 megapixel resolution images at up to 10 frames per second, helping to ensure that the decisive moment is captured such as the soccer ball flying into the goal. In addition, the DSC-TX10 employs a mechanical shutter that helps reduce distortion when continuously shooting moving subjects. Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar Lens with 25mm equivalent wide 4x Optical Zoom The high-performance Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar 4x optical zoom lens brings distant subjects closer for video recording as well as for outdoor, sports, and travel photos, and Close Focus shoots close-ups up to just under ½-inch from the subject. A wide angle of 25mm equivalent wide-angle lens allows you to take wider shots of the scene or group in crowded spaces. HDMI output The High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) is a compact audio/video connector interface for transmitting uncompressed digital streams. HDMI connects digital audio/video sources such as a compatible camcorder, Blu-ray Disc player, a personal computer, a video game console, or an AV receiver to a compatible digital audio device and/or video monitor such as a digital television (DTV). Easily connect your Cyber-shot camera via HDMI cable to any compatible HDMI compatible device to easily enjoy and upload content7. Smile Shutter technology Smile Shutter technology captures a smile the moment it happens. Simply press the Smile Shutter button and the camera does the rest. Also select adult and child priority and indicate the degree of Smile Detection Sensitivity. Intelligent Scene Recognition can be used together with Smile Shutter mode. This means that beautiful smiles can be captured with settings optimized for the particular scene, even in difficult conditions such as twilight and backlighting. Face Detection technology Sony’s Face Detection technology can automatically distinguish between children and adults. Face Detection technology detects up to eight individual faces and adjusts flash, focus, exposure, and white balance to help deliver crisp, properly lit images of family and friends. Motion Detection Motion Detection, along with Face Motion Detection adjusts ISO sensitivity and increases the shutter speed when movement is detected, reducing blur in moving subjects and faces. Anti-blink Function It’s frustrating to capture the perfect shot, only to review it later and discover subjects blinked during the photo. When the camera is set to Soft Snap, the Anti-blink function captures two images, recording only the photo with less squinting or blinking. If a blink is detected in other shooting modes, a warning will be displayed after you take the shot. Sweep Multi Angle Mode In Sweep Multi Angle mode, the camera takes 15 images at different angles as it sweeps across the scene. By tilting the camera during playback, the camera’s Gyro Sensor detects motion and displays the image in a 3D-like view on the camera’s LCD. Anti-Motion Blur Mode Capture cleaner and sharper images in low light for non landscape shots. When set in Anti-motion Blur Mode, the DSC-TX10 captures six images in a fraction of a second with higher shutter speed and combines the data from all six to create a single image of extraordinary detail and dramatically reduce subject blur, beyond the capability of traditional cameras. Backlight Correction HDR Shooting high-contrast scenes can often lead to washed out backgrounds and/or details lost in shadow. Backlight Correction HDR helps correct for this by taking three pictures at different exposure settings and processing the best elements of all three into a single image for more natural looking shots. TransferJet technology TransferJet technology, developed by Sony and advanced and promoted by consortium of 18 other companies, allows the transfer of up to ten files between two TransferJet enabled devices just by touching their TransferJet logos together, without the hassle of hunting for cables or the complication of pairing8. Customer Reviews unusable 4 of 4 people found the following review helpful. Detailed comparison of Sony to Panasonic TX10 For TS3 SammiMur First, some information about what I was looking for: I am a casual photographer. I wanted a waterproof camera that delivers high-quality photos in all conditions (indoors, outdoors and underwater. My intention was to completely replace my 7.2MP Sony DSC-W7, which I love. I wanted to function under water be added without compromising other functions. I want no more than $ 400 for anything to spend (cameras, two memory card 8GB (Class 10), two additional battery charger float and handle. It left me with about $ 340 to spend on the camera itself. I do not know much about photography. Terms like "ISO" and the "white balance" are strangers to me. I want to form pre-programmed scene and the characteristics of car use. I love digital scrapbooking and I often zoom and crop. Take a picture of very high quality crop / expand a small figure, without too much distortion, I began my search online and spent about 6 hours researching the cameras in my price range. The cameras focused on most of the Canon D10 was the TX-10, Sony, Panasonic, TS3 (sometimes called FT3) TG-810 Olympus Tough 8010, XP30 Fujifilm and Pentax WG-1. I removed most of these options pretty quickly based on their, ratings in general and the quality of the pictures I've reviewed. I dropped my focus to the Canon D10, TX-10, Sony, Panasonic and TS3. I wanted to love the Canon D10, and seems to be the overwhelming fan favorite, but decided that there would be a good option for me. The price of D10 is similar to the Sony and Panasonic, but it is a model of the 2.5 years that has HD video. The image quality was almost equivalent to the other two, so I decided to just focus on the two models with HD video. I would have been completely sold on the Sony because I have used Sony about my adult life and never been disappointed in one, however, had some notable shortcomings that most reviewers found with this model (as listed below) so I was a little hesitant to take the step of Sony also had a price on top of my budget ($ 329), while Panasonic was only $ 275 on Amazon.com. Panasonic's comments seem to be very positive, with the only significant problems were less commonly observed in the interior high-quality photos. However, all photos inside, outside and under the water that I reviewed on-line was very good. I decided to give Panasonic a chance at TS3 and I really, really wanted to fall in love with him. I ordered from Amazon and delivered the next day. I was not impressed with this camera. The outdoor shots were very good. The video was very good. Underwater photos (taken in my tank large fish) was very good. The indoor shots were poor. I decided to order Sony TX10, hoping that I see better results I have ordered from Amazon at 21:00 that night and it was delivered at 1:00 clock the next day (Gotta Love Amazon!). The picture quality of Sony's cameras are unique. Should I hold Sony TX10! For some people, but Panasonic may be better choices. First I give my general recommendations, I will add in all the details: Buy Sony TX10 IF: Did you appreciate the quality of the pictures / video of it all. They want touch screen devices. They have no intention of diving deeper than 16 meters. You do not care if you do your settings (except zoom) under water. You want a very small camera. Always use a wrist strap. If you buy PANASONIC TS3: you can live with granular interiors. (Because they are distorted), they have generally not you enlarge your images to 100%. You want a camera with GPS. They are planning deeper than 16 meters. You will have a larger (but not too big) camera. Are you looking for a cheaper NOW FOR MY detailed comments on both models: PRICE - The Sony is + / - $ 50 more expensive.

Its video quality, four-way ring, 3.5 "LCD, 16:9 movie mode, and the General Prosumer camera has made him a legend (see review www.camcorderinfo.com). Did I miss the train , but since it has become. PV-GS500 is replaced, which is not the same So I chose this camera This camera takes excellent video Sony, make no mistake; .. just check the reviews on CNET, and especially for more technical information about Camcorderinfo this after all my research, I feel that this is the best camera overall family, because it is very user friendly for all technophobes out there, but it also offers some manual control for the user who wants to explore more sophisticated (read: manual) features . A word of warning: The advanced features are available via the LCD menu, and have no buttons or rings, such as arranging the PV-GS400 or more other end prosumer cameras, but the LCD menu and implement, the site also SPOT FOCUS can meter, focus, exposure and white balance on the first screen of the p-menu of this little (literally) the camera much more usable than the sound check info like rearranging the camcorder LCD menu has a job for the gods of technology. It is not. I read the manual in half an hour, and were half an hour all the items sorted according to my preferences, it is only a matter of p-button menu on the LCD to scroll all the way down the selection of the p-menu options by the Sort button, then move around the buttons as you prefer. Now it's really important to move all the buttons I mentioned above (note the point and meter, focus, exposure and white balance above) to the first screen, if you want to maintain mental health The reason is simple: we will use some of these a lot of features. White balance, for example, offers four options: auto, outdoor, indoor, and a drug dealer. If you want an accurate color reproduction, follow my advice: Use a plunger. I noticed that the option within a video is orange, but if you get a white / gray (you should, it is $ 18 for a Kodak one here on Amazon) or use any white surface (the back of a laptop for example) in the light itself the subject, frame your LCD screen and press a button, the white balance menu, the video will be a perfect color reproduction. Do you see why you want to have white balance on-screen menu-P in the first place? Other things to do: allow 16:9 and 30p, as well as (if you have an HD TV or watch your movies on the computer screen) so that you do not have to flash 60i interlaced mode, activate the zebra (100) to see which parts of its structure are over-exposed, allowing 16-bit audio (default is 12 bit) for better audio quality, allowing Screening (the option of crossing to help the video images according to the rule of thirds If you do not know what the rule of thirds is google. This guide is a very important composition, unless Steven Spielberg. On the other hand, if you Steven Spielberg would not be reading reviews about this camera, right?). Once all this is done, there are some other things to do if you want to convince your friends to see your home videos and really enjoy them: - Get a microphone, the microphone of the camera is bad. Get HCM HST1 with his funny windscreen (you will see and laugh) or the new $ 199 Bluetooth Lavalier ECM-HW1 when the dough, the former must be close to your subject well audio work, where the latter can be subject to 30 meters (I think, check specs) away and still very good sound an external microphone is combined with extra battery and tripod, a must. You'll thank me later - NP-FP71 battery Get. It takes a few hours with the LCD open, this way.

Sony HDR-XR160 1080p HD camcorder by Happyman I got this and partly satisfied with it compared with my Sony TRV-340 Digital8 camcorder. Something I want to point out: Features: I do not like the battery release button as it is at the bottom of the camcorder. If the tripod is very difficult to change the battery on a tripod adapter is used, unless the adapter is small, or the PV-100 battery used to prevent the problem. Sound: It captures sound quality is very good and very powerful as the zoom microphone is possible. Image: That's good enough in the standard video and pretty good record in 1080. If the display on the LCD screen, the picture quality pretty good for both formats. However, see the video quality, clarity when you look at your computer or DVD player. Manual low light (3LUX): It's a big surprise for me, it works so well. Without Zoom, I caught a clear video of the bed room with bathroom lights (40W light source was about 6 feet of the road and pointed directly at the object behind the video camera) but is grainy, the catch is used. It was too grainy for the capture of a scene from 15 meters away from the camera using light reflectors, light source was about 10 feet behind the video camera and pointed at 90 degrees. But I prefer to have 1.5 to 2 LUX. Optical zoom: 30x is very good and quiet. Shooting / Photo mode: At some point the image is captured during recording in standard recording mode. It never happens in HD mode. It's weird, but it is not break anything (7/21/2011) AF:. ½ time is slower compared to my Digital8, in my opinion. Automatic Gain works automatically only in playback mode using the LCD panel. Overall I grade this camcorder (under $ 600) from 4 to 4.5 stars at the consumer level camera. If there are 3 and 1.5 Lux CMOS sensor, which is my video camera 5 stars ($ 2,000 +). 17 of 19 people found this review helpful As a sizzling impressive camcorder is a great camcorder. In a lot of research on camcorders and it was the new version of a consumer camcorder. Do not need a memory card as all information can be stored on the hard disk and then transferred to the computer. Another great feature is that it's a USB cable in the strap, so you can easily connect to your computer to download or charge the battery. 9 of 9 people found this review helpful. Very good picture and sound quality outdoors in bright areas of Akash This camera has great zoom. I can do things with this camera, not in real life that I see with my own eyes to see. The picture quality is very good outside but inside its a bit grainy, even on the best recording quality. The camera takes very good for audio and colors. The menu is very easy to use and easy and the software that comes with it is also nice. The hard drive is very useful because it is not necessary to buy expensive memory cards Battery life is approximately one hour and 40 minutes of high quality recording and the hard drive contains the highest quality 16 hours. The camera is also very light and looks great. The only drawback is that its kind of expensive and you may be able to find a camera with features like maybe thats $ 100 less. Read 9 reviews ....

Sony DSC-TX10 Feature Highlights Rugged and Stylish This camera is just as much at home in the water as on a night on the town! The sleek and stylish TX10 fits the slimmest pocket or purse, yet is waterproof to a depth of 16 ft10, shockproof from falls up to approximately 5 ft9 and dustproof12 thanks to its airtight construction. As well, this durable camera can even withstand extreme weather conditions, as it is operable in temperatures from 14- to 104-degrees Fahrenheit11. Without decent photographs and waterproof ... great for taking pictures of my children in and around water. They have also purchased the Optio W30 and W60, hopes that the updated models would be far better than the former. Unfortunately, the picture quality seems to worsen with each new model. Bummer. Did Canon D10 ... I like the best pictures of the Pentax D10, D10 and W60 are used as the primary backup. D10 is cumbersome and focus is pretty slow, but the colors are prettier than Pentax jpeg. I have a Sony DCS-TX10 last week, have not tried, but underwater, the following observations: Positives: - Much faster than focusing D10 - Wide angle starts at 35mm to 25 mm vs. D10 - stunning HD movie mode with support for zoom and stereo sound - Good punchy images with accurate colors - very compact - very good stabilization - Sweep Panorama is useful and fun - sliding cover protects the lens Negatives: - It takes a few seconds from power on to first shot - it takes 5 -7 seconds to start recording a movie, if not in movie mode - This is very annoying, maybe can be solved by future firmware upgrade? - Not too crazy about the touch screen interface - Battery does not seem very long (about the same D10) - Waterproof to 10m 5m from D10 - Play images seems a little slow There's no separate charger is loaded into the chamber through a USB cable and an iPod / iPhone I prefer having a separate charger so you can charge a spare battery while still using the camera, but I think others prefer just loading from a USB port Just to be clear, this is a charger plug (like iPhone) so you can load into a wall outlet as well. But no self-charger. Dimensions bought this battery and charger kit: Wasabi battery and charger kit for Sony Cyber-shot NP-BN1, DSC-T99, DSC-TX5, DSC ... I did not take in water more ... So, unless the camera died on me after touching the water or does something really unexpected, I would say this is the best compact waterproof that I owned and I highly recommend it. 10 of 11 people found this review helpful. Great little camera I recently upgraded from Dylan TX5 the TX10 (lost my TX5). The first thing I noticed was the plastic feel more like the TX10. The five felt more like a small cannon, real solid and heavy. But do not worry, feel the high quality plastic and nothing about the camera feels cheap in-hand touch screen takes some getting used. If you have an SLR user or a cannon point and shoot user, you will probably get frustrated with Sony menus in the beginning. OS is getting better and better with every iteration. This camera is definitely user friendly than my NX-5 even without calling. I personally think that calling and bigger buttons, but you have to make trade-off for pocket portability. If you are undecided at TS3 and theTX10 It might help to know that TX10 about half the size of your hand feels. It's really small for a waterproof camera. My sister has the Canon D10 and again, it feels huge compared to the TX10. Overall, the camera has an insane amount of features for the price. The pictures look great, but they have a "painted" look sometimes. Sony uses a lot of processing for noise and Shake Reduction that provides individual images a false appearance. Even at that price I think the camera takes phenomenal pictures An important issue is the color shown on the Amazon and Sony's website. It is not even close to what you get. I bought the blue because I have a Benchmade knife turned out to be exactly the same color. It is ... This camera is about 10 shades darker and looks very anodized / bright for him. Honestly, is very feminine. I returned it and left.
